Police Make Arrests In Connection With LA Model And Her Friend's Death

Brandt Osborn, 42, an actor in Hollywood was arrested in connection with the death of two women in Los Angeles. Osborn was working on the set of NCIS: Los Angeles when the police picked him up.

Earlier this year, model Christy Giles and her friend Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola were found dead outside a hospital in the city. Gile's husband, Jan Cilliers reportedly told the media that the police arrested Osborn and two others on Wednesday afternoon. The Los Angeles County Sheriff said that Osborn is being held on $100,000 bail. The other accused arrested by police is David Pearce who is being held on $1 million bail. The third accused has been identified as Michael Ansbach.

Christy Giles Murder:

According to reports, David Murrietta and Alexandra Creteau revealed to the police that Osborn had bragged about partying with two women and then dumping their bodies.  Murrietta said that Osborn allegedly told him " I have had the craziest weekend of my life."

"He told me how they’d partied, two girls came back to their place, and the girls had a bunch of drugs." Osbron allegedlt told Murrietta when Giles was pronounced dead. Osborn had left for a COVID-10 test for a commercial shoot and was informed about her death by his roommate when he came back. Murrietta alleged that Osborn and his friends checked pulse on Giles and freaked out and then decided to not call 911. " They decided what to do with the body," he added. Osborn and his friends allegedly decided to drive and drop Giles' body at the Culver City Hospital.

The accused persons allegedly checked the pulse on Giles' friend later and found it faint so they decided to drive to another hospital and dump her body there. It was an attempt at not getting caught by the police, as per reports.

The 24-year-old model Giles was found dead on a sidewalk outside the Culver City Hospital on November 13 and her friend, architect Hilda Marcela Cabreles-Arzola, 26 was found in an unconscious state outside Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles hospital two hours later.

Hilda passed away after being in coma for two weeks after that night. Her family reportedly switched off her life support a day before her 27th birthday. Giles' husband Cilliers has alleged that Osborn and Pearce were in Pearce's car when they dropped off Giles' body at the hospital. He alleged that his wife and her friend had met the two accused persons at a warehouse party in East Los Angeles and they went to Pearce's home after that. He urged people to come forward in case they have any more information about the case.

The accused persons allegedly drugged Hilda and Christy Giles at their party. Murrietta reportedly told the police, "His biggest concern after all of this was the girls had peed in the bed during the night.”
