Now CNN Philippines reported that Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra orders the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to conduct a separate probe on the death of flight attendant Christine Dacera.

Now, the events of the night as captured by the CCTV, show the young woman kissing one of her friends.

Reportedly, Valentine Rosales, one of the 11 men suspected in Christine Dacera's alleged rape and killing on New Year’s Eve claimed that Dacera initiated the kiss with him and that the woman was typically flirting with him in her drunken state. He further said that Dacera grabbed him while he tried to open the door.

Rosales has shared the same video on his Facebook account that shows him backing away from Dacera shortly after she made the move.

Rommel Galido, another friend who was partying with Dacera in the hotel room has alleged the flight attendant to be occasionally  “very naughty” when she got drunk. However, Galido also said that the young woman mentioned to him that she believed someone mixing something in her drink. Later, he saw Dacera vomiting.

Rommel Daluro Galida, 29, is one of the three persons who were arrested by the police in connection with the flight attendant's death. He was also charged under the crime of  “rape with homicide.”

Benedicto Malcontento, Prosecutor General mentioned in his statement “After a thorough evaluation of the facts and evidence presented during inquest proceedings, the Office of the City Prosecutor, Makati City resolved to refer the case for further investigation and to release the arrested persons from detention.”

“At this point, the pieces of evidence so far submitted are insufficient to establish that she was sexually assaulted or raped. And if sexual assault/rape was committed, who is/are the person/s responsible?” Prosecutor General added.

Reportedly, The Makati police chief said that the accused present in the hotel claim to be a member of the  LGBTQIA+ community and are sexually interested in men.

However, Dacera’s mother Sharon has appealed to President Rodrigo Duterte, saying her daughter had been “treated like a pig” in the “barbaric” crime. The family is also preparing for a second autopsy after claiming that the first one was incomplete.

This is a developing story.
