Chandigarh Girl Pins Her Name In Three Guinness World Record Events

Ananya Kamboj, a 12-grade student from Mohali, Chandigarh has pinned her name in three Guinness World Record Events as a young journalist on Thursday.

At the Young Journalist at Gazprom International Children’s Social Programme F4F (Football for Friendship), Ananya Kamboj has been selected to represent the country for the past five years.

Ananya Kamboj said in her statement, "Being part of three Guinness World Record events, I feel proud, honoured, and happy to have achieved something that on the one hand is rather rare, but on the other is simply the result of my passion for football as something that makes me wholesome."

Kamboj has been invited to be the special guest in Moscow for the launch of her book, My Journey from Mohali to St. Petersburg in 2018. The book is going to be based on fundamental human values and will be including an anthology of 21 stories. The book was officially released by Chairperson of the Gazprom Board of Directors, Viktor Zubkov. Kamboj is also been the recipient of the best young journalist award.

Her book also mentioned Kamboj's definitions of success, fulfilment, and happiness in life. It also interprets the human values in the fresh interpretation of sports. Kamboj also spoke about the enrichment of the different dimensions of life. It includes the questions like how to be a good person, how to live a good life, and how to create a good society and will intrigue the seeker of these questions.

Ananya Kamboj also spoke about the importance of sports in the curriculum and said, "If a person has never learned any sport, how are they able to discern the difference between victory and defeat? That is the essence of sports education." Kamboj has also been a part of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Youth Forum on an active basis.
