Pakistani Girls Leave Home To Meet BTS, Found In Lahore

Two teenage BTS fangirls run away from home to travel to South Korea and fulfill their dream of meeting their idols and favourite K-pop group BTS.

K-pop band BTS' popularity is sky-rocketing with every passing day, especially among young women around the world. However, two Pakistani teenagers crossed all limits of fangirling and decided to reach all the way to South Korea alone to meet BTS.

Bangtan Sonyeodan, aka, BTS is currently the most hyped boy band in the world. The seven-member South Korean pop group sings, dances, produces, directs and acts to win the hearts of the world with their amazing visuals and talents. From Billboard to Grammy's, the group has serenaded audiences and celebrities like John Cena, Halsey and Coldplay. The K-pop group enjoys huge popularity, especially among ladies who swoon over their cute antics as well as their attractive stage presence. Among millions of BTS fangirls, called ARMY, two teenagers are currently making news because of their insane attempt to meet their idols in real life.

BTS Fangirls Run Away From Home

In the Korangi area of Pakistan's Karachi, two girls, allegedly of age 13 and 14, ran away from their home to go to South Korea in order to meet BTS. The police were investigating the missing case that their guardians filed and found them 1200 km away in Karachi on Tuesday. The girls had travelled from their home and boarded a train that led them to Lahore, near India's border, where the two were caught by the police.

The police reportedly found a diary belonging to the girls while searching their homes for clues and in the diary, they mentioned the schedule of trains that can lead them to South Korea. Pakistan police's senior superintendent Abraiz Ali Abbasi reportedly informed, "From the diary we saw mentions of train timetables and that they had been planning to run away with another friend of theirs … who we then interviewed".

The girls went missing on Saturday and on intensive search, the police found them in the custody of Lahore police. The police said they will be sending them back to their homes in Karachi. The superintendent also said that parents should pay attention to what their kids are watching online and manage their screen time.
