Woman accuses Ramesh Jarkiholi of 'sexually using' her
Ramesh Jarkiholi was earlier the Water Resources Minister of the state, who had resigned on March 3. His resignation came after a day when a video clip of him getting intimate with a woman circulated. The minister then went on to deny his presence in the video clip, and called it 'fake.' However, the woman in the clip alleged that Jarkiholi was sexually 'using' her, and threatened her after he promised to offer her a government job. She has now written to the Karnataka High Court chief justice to seek protection.
Belgavi is the home district of the former minister of water resources. It is the Belgaum Lok Sabha seat in Belgavi which will be going to the bypolls along with Maski and Basavakalyan assembly segments on April 17.
