Impact of her photo

The room where Chaphekar was interviewed had the picture of hers which went viral after the attack. The interviewer told her that her lectures start with that picture and end with it. “She told me that she says in her lectures that we want people like her who go through so much— but the kind of courage she showed is remarkable,” Chaphekar told SheThePeople.TV.

In her message at the European Parliament, Chaphekar said, “Time has come for us to unite because we have so much rage against the power structure but we cannot let it go just like that. We all need to start loving each other. We all need to start planting the seeds of compassion and then water them with faith and relationship. This is the only way we can achieve prosperity and peace in the world.

"I can do anything to promote this ideology. After the Brussels tragedy, I came across many more similar attacks in different parts of the world and then the ultimate question rises—Why?”

'Start with education'

Chaphekar added that we need to start with ground-level things like education as it gives you the power of thought-process. It can also uproot the thought of terror mindset. Another thing she talked about is poverty and women's empowerment.

World Association for NGO (WANGO) has also provided Chaphekar a lifetime membership so she, along with other NGOs, can participate in spreading awareness against such terror attacks. She also wants to involve in social activities to talk about the significance of education and women's empowerment that will lead to global progress.
