In the now-viral video, she looks unimpressed as the caption appeared on screen about her feeling mad because her husband “was on a boy's trip and wasn't replying to me". The video pans to his photo revealing the reason for his silence, saying, “He was dead”. She joked that her husband should have at least given her a heads up.

The clip which has been viewed over two million times made people grow curious to know the full story. The young woman posted a follow-up video explaining what transpired on August 8 night leading to her husband Matt’s unfortunate demise.

She explains that her husband Matt went to another city a couple of hours away from their home to watch a rugby game with his friends. Caldwell messaged her husband the next morning to which he did not reply; she found it weird but thought nothing of it because she assumed he must be hungover.

She narrated that Matt was walking on an embankment at the place they were lodging and he did not realise he was at the edge and fell. She added that he “died on impact” and said that none of them could have prevented the accident. She added that the couple shared a dark sense of humour which is a "really big coping mechanism" for her.

Viewers flooded the comments section with condolences while some added dark humour of their own in a bid to make her chuckle. “Sorry for your loss,” a follower wrote and added, “But I still can’t forgive him for ghosting you!”
