According to the complaint lodged by Chakraborty, a “bogus and unlawful” medical prescription “was sent by the petitioners with the help of a Delhi-based doctor wherein medicines for anxiety were prescribed to Rajput”.
"There is prima facie case found against Priyanka Singh and there should not be any impediment against investigation against her," the court said in its verdict, Bar and Bench reported. While reserving the judgment on January 7, the bench observed that “from his (Sushant Singh Rajput’s) face, one can make out that he was innocent and sober and very good human being. Even in MS Dhoni, everybody liked him especially in that film.”
Both sisters had appealed to the court for cancellation of the police cases. And, Rajput’s family, including his sisters, have accused Chakraborty, of mentally harassing him. In her complaint, she mentioned a couple of WhatsApp texts between the actor and his sister on June 8, indicating that it was Priyanka who had advised her brother to take three medicines were prescribed for depression and anxiety. It was earlier reported that his family was aware of his mental health problems.
Just ahead of the verdict, Shweta Singh Kirti took to Instagram to share a post. "Kahan chala gaya baby?? Just come back... it has been 8 months...haven’t seen you or heard from you.... Please, come back," she wrote alongside a smiling picture of the late actor.
