Lisa Ray
Actor Lisa Ray and her husband Jason Dehni recently became parents to twin daughters - Sufi and Soleil. Ray recently announced the birth. She took to Twitter to share the news with her fans. Sharing a photo of her twins, she captioned it as “Stand back world: here comes Soufflé (Sufi plus Soleil) My girls know the future is female. Thank you for all your support and blessings. Takes a village.”
As per reports, Lisa welcomed in June through surrogacy. The actress was diagnosed with myeloma (a form of blood cancer), back in 2009. A year later,after a stem cell transplant, she announced that she was cancer-free.

Karan Johar
Last year, Karan Johar made a surprise announcement that he’s became a father. Johar's twins were born through surrogacy. The filmmaker shared a heartfelt message about the arrival of his newborns. He also expressed gratitude towards the twins' surrogate mother, without naming her or the doctor who made the surrogacy possible.

Tusshar Kapoor
In 2016, Tusshar Kapoor announced the birth of his child. Kapoor took to Twitter and Instagram and shared the news with everyone. “I proudly announce the arrival of my son, a baby boy, born last week through IVF and surrogacy. The baby, Laksshya, is in excellent health. I am thrilled to be a father! The paternal instincts in me have been overpowering my heart and mind for some time now. Therefore, I am thrilled beyond words to have Laksshya, now the greatest source of joy in my life. By the greatness of God and the excellent medical team at Jaslok, parenthood is an option for many, who choose to be single parents. Thanks to you all for your blessings & good wishes.”

Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan
In July 2013, Shah Rukh Khan, in a press statement, announced the birth of his son. He also mentioned that the child, AbRam was born through surrogacy. He had also thanked Dr Jatin Shah of Bombay Fertility Clinic & IVF Centre, Grant Road, and the staff, for their expertise and contribution.
Aamir Khan-Kiran Rao
In 2011, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao welcomed their son, Azad Rao Khan. The couple openly declared that their son was born through surrogacy using the IVF (in-vitro fertilization) technique. Aamir, in an interview, said that being in the public eye, they would have been asked about it anyway, and they have never felt defensive about the decision. He reflected that their being open about surrogacy could be useful for people.
Sohail and Seema Khan
Sohail Khan and his wife Seema welcomed their first baby Nirvaan in the year 2000. A decade later, they decided to expand their family and chose surrogacy. Their second son Yohan Khan was born in 2011.
