Kill This Love, the 2019 music video by K-pop group Blackpink has surpassed 1.2 billion views on YouTube. With this feat, girl band Blackpink has become the first K-pop group to have two music videos with over 1.2 billion views. Their first song to cross this benchmark was DDU-DU DDU-DU, which took two years to accomplish this feat.
The announcement was made by the band's management agency YG Entertainment. The announcement also revealed that Kill This Love is also the fastest K-pop music video to cross 1.2 billion views, doing it in one year, 10 months, and 4 days of its release.
