Bihar: Woman Chops Off Man's Genitals As He Ghosts Her On Wedding Day

A woman in Bihar, who is a doctor, cut off the genitals of a man because he refused to marry her. The duo have been in a relationship for the last two years. On July 1, the couple decided to get married in Chhapra court, however, the man didn't show up in the court and refused to marry the woman. Currently, the woman is under custody while the man is undergoing treatment. 

As per the reports, the incident took place on July 1 at a private hospital under Marhaura police station in Saran district. The man and the woman had a heated argument when the man refused to marry the woman.

How did the woman carry out the gruesome act?

Deeply hurt, the 24-year-old woman who claimed to be a doctor called the 30-year-old man to her clinic. She gave him medicine to make him unconscious and allegedly chopped off his genitals. The man was left bleeding profusely. 

The police reached the spot as soon as they police received information about the incident. The man was rushed to a local hospital from where he was referred to Srishti Hospital in Patna.

Allegations made by the woman about the man

The woman was interrogated by the police after being taken into custody. She revealed that she had been in a relationship with the man for the past two years and that they had decided to register their marriage in the court in Chhapra but he stepped back at the last moment. 

The woman also accused the man of sexually exploiting her under the pretext of marriage. She also revealed that the man made her undergo two abortions. 

Police's statement

The police's statement further confirmed the incident. The police said to a media portal, "During questioning, the woman revealed that both of them had been in a relationship for the last two years. Today (July 1), both of them were going to marry each other in a court in Chhapra, but the man refused at the last moment, leading to such an incident."
