Bihar Man Kills pregnant Wife: On Wednesday, in Bihar's Sondihara village in the Kaimur district, a man allegedly killed his pregnant wife and two children with a spade used for farming over a domestic dispute. The accused was arrested and the police seized the murder weapon. The dead bodies were sent for a post-mortem examination.
The accused, Lal Babu Sah told to the police that he was very poor and his small business was severely affected during the pandemic. It left him frustrated. Moreover, his wife had been ill for a long time. He suspected that the illness was a result of some 'black magic spell' that his in-laws had cast on her. Babu Sah added that his wife was influenced by her father who allegedly is a sorcerer. The man further told police that he killed her and their two children as he got angry when she insisted on visiting her father claiming his sorcery could cure her despite his objections.
As per reports, the villagers informed the police after finding the bodies of Sah's wife and children lying in a pool of blood in his thatched outhouse. Station house officer (SHO) Ramanand Mandal reached the place hurriedly and arrested the accused.
