A Special DG level officer from Madhya Pradesh, Purushottam Sharma has been accused of brutally beating his wife, and the video of the incident has gone viral on social media. According to reports, the incident took place after the officer was allegedly caught cheating by his wife. The fact that his wife discovered this, angered him and he started thrashing and abusing her while warning her to stay away from his personal life. The report was detailed by News 18.

The son of the officer, Parth Gautam Sharma filed a complaint against him to the Home Minister, Chief Secretary, and DGP and even shared the video of his father hitting his mother.

During the incident, the staff present at the house tried to interfere and stop the officer but Sharma didn't stop and can be seen thrashing his wife in the video. Reportedly, Purushottam Sharma was hitting his wife so hard that his own hand also got injured.
