Comedian Bharti Singh recently broke down on stage during the latest episode of Dance Deewane 3, recalling how her mother struggled with COVID-19. The host got emotional after a contestant, through her dance performance, showed the real-life story of a young mother who lost her 14-day old baby to coronavirus.
Singh revealed on the reality television show that she and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa were planning to have a baby this year but postponed their plans owing to the coronavirus scare. She went on to say that she is not ready to start her family yet.

In a video doing the rounds on social media, the actor can be seen talking about how she was scared that she is going to lose her mother Kamla Singh, who was infected with the virus earlier. Singh, in tears, can be seen sharing that while her mother was recuperating, her neighbour died of COVID-19, leaving the comedian worried. "Coronavirus is making everyone cry so much. It’s taking so many lives. My mother also got affected by the virus. She used to call me crying that a neighbour died. I would be scared what if I also get a call like this. The virus has broken all of us,” she further narrated.
The popular comedienne also opened up about how she and Limbachiyaa have been planning to have a baby but after hearing about the number of cases and the death around, they are not very encouraged to the idea right now. "We are deliberately not talking about having a baby because I don’t want to cry like this," she said in a clip from the show.
