The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) moved Special court seeking cancellation of Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa's bail. The couple had secured bail from a magistrate court. NCB had raided their residence and production office earlier and allegedly recovered 86.5 grams of Ganja. Later, the couple was arrested and sent to judicial custody.

Bharti and Harsh had been accused of consuming banned substances by a 21-year-old drug peddler arrested in the Khar Danda area by NCB. Following the accusation, Singh’s house was raided by NCB. “Small quantity of cannabis (ganja)” (86.5 grams) was allegedly recovered from their house in suburban Andheri.
NCB then interrogated and arrested the couple was then interrogated over alleged possession and use of drugs. Singh later admitted to the consumption of cannabis purchased by her husband. While her husband confessed that he bought it from one peddler and kept one bag at his office.
Soon after their arrests, the couple filed bail pleas and got bail by serving a bond of Rs. 15,000. While giving its judgment on their release today, the court observed, “The drug seized from their residence is of a small quantity. Also, it’s a case of consumption only, hence police custody under such circumstances is not required.”
