Dr Gurpreet Kaur and Bhagwant Mann wedding pictures have been posted on the internet. The Chief Minister of Punjab Mann tied the knot with Kaur on July 7 in Chandigarh.
The Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal attended the wedding. He congratulated Mann and said, “I wish him a happy married life.”
Raghav Chadha, the AAP Member of Parliament also attended the wedding and tweeted images of the ceremony. Chadha had also congratulated the couple on their nuptials.
The marriage between Dr Gurpreet Kaur and Bhagwant Mann marks his second marriage. Mann was previously married to Inderjeet Kaur and the couple got divorced in 2015 and have two children together, a son and a daughter. Mann’s ex-wife shifted to the United Kingdom and began residing there with her children Dilshan Mann and Seerat Kaur Mann.
The reasons behind Mann's first marriage ending in divorce have not been confirmed, but according to reports, the couple separated as Mann was not able to set aside time for his family after becoming a political figure.

The Punjab CM Mann and Kaur got married on July 7 in a private ceremony at Mann’s residence in Chandigarh. The couple has known each other for four years and met each other in 2019. Their marriage was solemnised at a Gurudwara as per the traditional Anand Karaj, in accordance with Sikh rituals.
The close friends that attended the wedding posted the Bhagwant Mann wedding pictures on social media.
The bride, Dr Gurpreet Kaur also shared an image of herself on Twitter and captioned it as “The day of the marriage has arrived”. Kaur also thanked the AAP leaders that congratulated the couple and expressed her gratitude for the congratulatory messages.
Kaur had completed her MBBS from Maharishi Markandeshwar University and is currently working as a physician.
Mann’s family wanted him to get married for a second time and took part in arranging the marriage and choosing the bride. His sister and mother took the point in arranging the marriage.
The wedding was kept under wraps until July 6, a day before the wedding.
