Pop star Beyonce finally shared the first official photo of her twins on Instagram on Thursday night (July 13). She wrote, 'Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today', confirming their names as they turn one month old.

In the photo, she is seen wearing the same floral theme she had worn at the time of announcing her pregnancy. The photo shows Beyonce holding the children in front of flowers in a garden and an ocean in the background.

The post garnered more than 2 million likes on Instagram within an hour of her announcement.

Five months ago, Beyoncé had instagrammed post announcing the good news that she and her husband Jay Z are expecting twins.

“We would like to share our love and happiness,” the Instagram post read while she showed her baby bump. “We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes.”

Within just eight hours, the singer's post had become the most-liked Instagram post with 6.7 million likes.

The new mommy is quite famous for her electrifying shows, including “album of the year” for “Lemonade”. Besides that, she has also been nominated in nine categories for the 2017 Grammy Awards, making her the most-nominated woman in Grammy's history.

According to a poll conducted by a website Buzznet, Beyonce topped the list of the most beautiful woman in the world.

She also set up a scholarship for female students recently. Her noble initiative to contribute towards women's education garnered a lot of appreciation from leaders like Michelle Obama.

Beyonce and husband Jay-Z tied the marital knot in 2008, and have a five-year-old daughter Blue Ivy.
