Two Bengal women alleged in their complaint that they were forced to shoot pornographic films. The cops said on July 27 that the videos which were uploaded on multiple websites and apps were associated with Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra who is currently arrested for allegedly making porn films.
A senior police officer stated that the FIR was based on the accusations of being lured to shoot porn and circulating them on the internet, as complained by two Bengal women, according to a report by NDTV.
One of the women stated that her video was uploaded on websites and apps which were allegedly linked with Kundra who was recently arrested in the pornographic film production case.
Bengal Women Forced To Shoot Porn
The women stated in their complaint that they were lured in the disguise of a photoshoot. They allegedly came across a notice of seeking models for a photoshoot on social media earlier this year. However, when they got in touch with the advertisers of the shoot, they were allegedly forced to take part in porn.
The officer added that the shoot took place in January inside a studio near Ballygunge railway station, Kolkata. One of the women hailed from Asansol, a city in West Bengal while another hailed from Kolkata.
The women reportedly refused to take part in the shoot after they got to know the details. Allegedly, the makers did not listen to their pleas and forced them.
Raj Kundra was arrested on July 17 for allegedly making and distributing pornographic films for some app. The police stated that Kundra was the "key conspirator" in the porn racket and they had enough evidence against him.
Kundra, on July 23, challenged his arrest and termed it "illegal" and filed a petition in Court.
Although his bail hearing was dated July 27, the High Court adjourned it till July 29.
