BBC presenter Victoria Valentine had an oops moment while hosting the breakfast show live on-air. She was giving an intro on a news segment in the BBC studio that is when cameras started going nuts, the robot camera kept panning around the empty room without stopping at the anchor Valentine. Instead of the camera following her lead, Valentine started following the camera's lead. She was seen chasing it to come back into the frame.
Victoria Valentine Saves The Day
A news presenter was caught in a blunder created by a technology goof-up. She was left red-faced but handled it well in the end. Valentine laughed as she began running after the camera while presenting the segment. Covered it up by saying, "Hello there, we start in the Swiss ski resort of Tavos where the... you know what? Stay with me. Sometimes this happens. Just to prove it's live", as per the video.
The video shows that the camera finally stopped with a frame that showed the anchor's chair. The presenter settled down and smiled. She continued, "We're going to talk about what Keir Starmer has been talking about - the opposition party leader. He has been reassuring the investors at the World Economic Forum that Labour is pro-business and pledging to do more to attract foreign investment into the UK if they win power next year>"
Valentine shared the short clip of the blooper on Twitter, which later went viral on social media. The video received over 171k reviews. Soon then the comments started pouring in, where users appreciated the anchor's quick thinking and handling of the situation.
A user said, "Very well recovered. The camera had a mind of its own or maybe it was being kind and wanting you to sit down comfortably."
The second user commented, "Morning Victoria definitely not piste love your professional tongue-in-cheek style I was distracted by this morning with your beauty have a beautiful day lovely Victoria."
