The death of Amit Mistry came as a shock to many. The actor reportedly died due to a heart attack. He was last seen on the Amazon Prime Video web series Bandish Bandits. After the news of the death, many have expressed how they think the Gujarati actor was still too young and how untimely his death is.
The Indian Film TV Producers Council shared the tragic news on Twitter: "Shocking and Deeply Saddening news of one of the talented actor Amit Mistry passing away... Heartfelt condolence to family and friends.. RIP." the Council tweeted.

Apart from the Indian Film TV Producers Council, celebrities like Kubbra Sait, Nimrat Kaur, Jacqueline Fernandez, Tisca Chopra and Sumeet Vyas from the film industry have also expressed their grief and paid tribute to the actor. Many fans have also sent their heartfelt condolences to the 47-year-old actor's family and expressed their demise.

Actor Jacqueline Fernandez shared a picture of her and Amit Mistry on her Instagram story. “Rest in peace” she wrote and added a crying emoji. Actor Nimrat Kaur also wrote, “Prayers and heartfelt condolences for the family and loved ones. Really so tragic… what an untimely loss”.
