She also added that people of the state are fed up with the "Hindutva ideology and dynasty politics." Women have always been dominated in our society, said she, adding that this was the reason "we have rejected the idea to join any political party, including the ruling BJP, and decided to fight politically for our needs,” reported The Times of India.

The president of Mohilar Dal party also urged the newly floated Assam Jatiya Parishad and Raijor Dal to unite against ‘communal’ politics for which the people of the state have suffered a lot over the last couple of years.

Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP) was formed by two most influential and powerful student-youth bodies, All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) and Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP). While, Raijor Dal is a new political party, launched on 2 October 2020 in Assam. During the launch ceremony of Raijor Dal, the regional leaders were also joined by eminent filmmaker Jahnu Barua, political leader Arup Borbora, and Bir Lachit Sena leader Sringkhal Chaliha.
