Shark Tank India is a reality show where Indian entrepreneurs can pitch their brand and ask for investment. While some really great ideas and pitches got funding from the show, many contestants were disappointed as they left empty-handed. The judges, aka, the sharks were also seen making made some harsh, rude comments on some entrepreneurs. One of the judges infamous for his rude comments, Ashneer Grover has been called out for double standards by a rejected contestant, Niti Singhal.
Ashneer Grover Wife Wears Clothes From Rejected Shark Tank India Designer
Niti Singhal, a young designer, was a contestant in Shark Tank India where she pitched her 'sustainable and convertible' cloth line to the sharks. Neither of the judges invested in her idea, she had to face Ashneer Grover's comments as he asked her to close her shop because no one will wear her clothes. Looks like the tables have turned as Niti is now being promoted by Ashneer Grover's wife Madhuri.
Recently, all the Shark Tank India judges made an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show. Ashneer Grover wife, Madhuri accompanied him to the show where she was seen wearing one of Niti Singhal's designs, 'Twee In One' dress. As soon as the designer saw this, she took to her Instagram to share the incident and called out the judge for his double standards.
Niti Singhal shared a video with a footage from Shark Tank India episode in which she featured. Grover was seen remarking rudely that her designs were bad and she should close her shop and not waste time. Then there was a picture of Ashneer Grover's wife wearing Niti's design and the video ended with Ashneer's meme calling out the hypocrisy.
Niti Singhal captioned the video, "Never let anyone's words pull you down. Everyone has their own opinions. Don't stop believing in yourself. Thank you @madsj30 for appreciating our work. We love you!!"
The Indian adaptation of the US show became really popular not only for promoting business ideas and entrepreneurs but also because of the meme worthy content. The show released in December 2021 on Sony TV and has ended now but is due for a special episode that will be airing soon.
