There is still no clarity or statement from either of the parties involved on what led to the assault. Many social media users claimed that in spite of being a victim of assault, an FIR was filed against the cab driver and not the girl. Some also said that the girl has refused to file an FIR against the cabbie. There has been no official statement made by the police so far whether an FIR has been lodged in the case or not.
