Are you a feminist? Are you ashamed to admit it? Well, Tanmay Bhatt's latest rant on feminism that has become a rage on social media might encourage you to admit to it freely.

The All India Bakchod founder shoots off fuming about how he read a post on Facebook which tries to label feminists. And squashing the image of feminists as “carrying jholas, protest signs and always whining about things”, he makes the pertinent point: Feminism means equality among genders and if you believe in equality among genders then you are actually a feminist. Simple, eh?

Bhatt also tells everyone who says they haven't faced sexism to lay off, shut up and let other people fight their struggle. Bhatt finishes of what he calls a rant on misinterpretation of feminism by saying that whoever believes in basic equality does by default become a feminist.

Feminism means equality among genders and if you believe in equality among genders then you are actually a feminist. Simple, eh?

Bhatt seems to have nailed the entire conversation that has been going on for over a decade now where feminists are severely looked down, with his trademark sarcastic style. Well, people take a cue. It's not a big deal to admit it. Be proud of being a feminist! Although Tanmay Bhatt did miss out on mentioning if he is one. Well, maybe that's saved for another rant!
