Anushka Sharma Steps Down From Clean Slate Filmz To Focus On Acting Career

Anushka Sharma stepped down as a Producer from her production house Clean Slate Filmz. All the affairs and management will be looked after by her brother Karnesh Ssharma, with whom she started the company. The actor took to Instagram sharing the news with her fans mentioning that she wants to focus more on her acting.

Actor-Producer Anushka Sharma shared an Instagram post mentioning that she will be stepping away as the producer and founder of her company Clean Slate Filmz. The actor mentioned that as a new mother, she had to balance her life with entirely new ways. Anushka Sharma has decided to step down as a producer to dedicate her time more towards her profession as an actor.

"Whatever time I have at hand, I will dedicate it to my first love, acting!" She wrote in the post. The actor further added that her position will be helmed by her brother Karnesh Ssharma, "Therefore, I have decided to step away from CSF, confident that the most able person, Karnesh, is taking forward the vision with which it was created in the first place," she wrote.

Both siblings started the production company Clean Slate Filmz (CSF) in 2013 when the actor was 25. Since then, the company has created some of the most ground-breaking films in the Hindi film industry including NH10, Bulbbul and Pari. Its web-series Pataal Lok which aired on Amazon Prime Video, is one of the most loved and highly acclaimed series among the Indian audience.

Sharma credited her brother for making CSF what it is today. With an aim of providing clutter-breaking content to its audience, the production house attempts to create entertaining and unique features. "While CSF started with my vision to change the narrative of what commercial projects should be like, I have to credit Karnesh who has excelled in shaping what CSF has become today."

Wishing luck to her CSF family, Sharma concluded by saying that she will always remain the biggest cheerleader by supporting the company in its future endeavours and believes in the leadership of Karnesh Ssharma.
