Anant Ambani, Radhika Merchant Get Engaged At Rajasthan's Nathdwara; See Pics

Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani got engaged today. In Rajasthan's Nathdwara, the couple went to the Shrinathji Temple.

The Ambani family is having a huge celebration. Anant Ambani, the youngest child of Nita and Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, the daughter of Viren and Shaila Merchant, announced their engagement on Thursday.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's Roka took place on December 29, 2022, at the Shrinathji Temple, Nathdwara, Rajasthan. It was rumoured that the families held a secret engagement ceremony but it seems that those were wrong. The couple was reportedly there to take blessings while the official engagement ceremony was held on January 19, 2023, in the presence of both their families. The ceremony began with Ganesh pooja and was followed by Gol Dhana, Chunari Vidhi and exchanging rings along with a special dance performance by the Ambanis in Mumbai.

His tweet read: "Heartiest congratulations to dearest Anant and Radhika for their Roka ceremony at the Shrinathji temple in Nathdwara. May Lord Shrinath ji’s blessings be with you always." Anant wore a blue traditional kurta set, and Radhika wore a peach lehenga for the ceremony.

Who is Radhika Merchant?

Since Radhika Merchant was born on December 18, 1994. She is the daughter of Encore Healthcare CEO Viren Merchant and Shaila Merchant. Her younger sister, Anjali Merchant, is her only sibling.

In addition to École Mondiale World School, Merchant attended the Cathedral and John Connon Schools in Mumbai. For her IB Diploma, she also attended BD Somani International School. She received a bachelor's degree in politics and economics from New York University. She returned to India and started working for a significant real estate company as a sales representative.

In 2019, there were rumours that Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani got engaged in a private ceremony. The report was not verified, though. The two are frequently photographed together and, according to rumours, have known one another since they were young.

Those who keep up with the Ambani family are aware that Radhika Merchant frequently shows up at all of their events and gatherings. In 2018, Radhika gave a performance at the sangeet of Isha Ambani. She studied Indian classical at Shree Nibha Arts under the mentorship of Guru Bhavana Thakar. She was also spotted at Armaan Jain's wedding with the Ambani family.
