While several Twitter users agreed with Mahindra's hilarious take on the subject, one person just could not hold back from asking a question completely out of context. The Twitter user replied to Mahindra writing, "None of my business, but why he is not an Indian son-in-law?" In response, Mahindra gave a befitting reply that shed light not just on how people should actually mind their own business but also on why people should have the right to choose their own life partners. "Because that’s none of my business either," he wrote stressing the fact that his daughters, on their own, chose their life partners on their own and he is proud of them for doing so.

While some netizens found the question stupid, some loved Mahindra's reply and hailed the business tycoon for his empowering take on the subject. "Your knack for subtly shedding light on cultural conditioning, bigotry and ignorance of certain aspects of people in their own questions, and while doing that maintaining the decorum of the platform is not just a treat to read but also helps rethink a lot of stuff. Love it!" wrote a Twitter user.

Another user advised Mahindra to not bother about people who don't have a sense of understanding. "Sir, please don’t waste your energy replying to these kinds of people. Tomorrow they will question why we eat french fries," he wrote amusingly. Several users backed Mahindra's daughter's decision to marry a French national saying, "there's no boundary in love."
