Levi's Appoints Amisha Jain As MD For SAMEA Area; Know More About Her Illustrious Career

Amisha Jain has been named Levi's senior vice president and managing director for South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa (SAMEA) region. She will be in charge of the company's operations in SAMEA in her new position. She's also in charge of expanding and growing the brand throughout Asia and around the world.

The alumna of the University of Texas and INSEAD Business School was named Entrepreneur of the year last year by the Karnataka government and it is known how Zivame scaled new heights under her able leadership. Amisha has spent over two decades of her life in the consumer, tech, and retail businesses and has had an illustrious career in the field.  Here's looking back at the professional feats Amisha has achieved thus far.

Amisha Jain's Career: Journey So Far

Amisha, who holds a degree in electrical engineering, lay the foundation of her career as an engineer at Motorola, a telecommunication company. She then went on to hold critical positions in sales, operations and strategy departments of multinational companies. Jain has worked with big sharks like Nike, Arvind Group and McKinsey & Company.

Amisha Jain was named chief executive officer of Zivame, a lingerie brand, in 2018. (CEO). Jain bolstered Zivame's efforts to supply innovative products to Indian women and to expedite the company's growth by expanding its omnichannel footprint.

Before joining Zivame, Jain worked with Arvind Sports Lifestyle as the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President from January 2017 to April 2018. She had managed the Internet division for the group of companies as COO prior to that. She also worked with Nike India for over three years and quit the position of Head of Sales in the company.

Jain expressed excitement as well and was quoted as saying, "I am excited to join LS&Co. and Levi’s brand - one that I have always admired as a consumer and a business leader.
