American Tennis player Amanda Anisimova has reportedly been tested positive for COVID-19. The 19-year-old Tennis player has not confirmed her COVID-19 results but it is confirmed she is not going to play in the Women's Tennis Association Tournament that is scheduled to be held in Abu Dhabi. The tournament is planned to be held from 6 January- 13 January.
The news of she being positive for the novel coronavirus came on Friday. Moreover, she has posted on Instagram a photo of herself on the Tennis field with a crying emoji along with the caption which reads, " I wanna play."

Amanda Anisimova and Her Achievements
Anisimova is a 19-year-old American player with 5'11'' height. She is being coached by Alex Kuznetsov. Her mother's name is Olga who was brought up in Mexico and her sister's name is Maria Anisimova-Egee who lives in New York. Amanda has various auchievements in her bag and thus WTA tournament was another opportunity for her to add more feathers to her cap.
Amanda became the youngest American to win a title at 17 years 222 days since Serena Williams at 1999 Indian Wells. Williams was 17 years 169 days when she got the title. Moreover, in 2019 she won the maiden title at Bogotá.
