Soon Bollywood star Alia Bhatt will be seen climbing mountains like the boss lady Arunima Sinha herself. According to a report in Peeping Moon, the 25-year-old actress has nodded for the film that will be based on Arunima’s book Born Again On The Mountain: A Story of Losing Everything And Finding It Back.
The biopic will depict the trials and tribulations of the amputee mountaineer's life. As per the sources, the scripting of the film is in process at this moment with Arunima being closely involved in it. Peeping Moon quoted a source saying, “Producer Vivek Rangachari of Dar Motion Pictures has teamed up with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions to jointly produce this biopic.”
A source involved with the film was further quoted saying, “Arunima’s life has been an inspiration to many across the globe and what she has managed isn’t just an ordinary feat. When makers approached her to make a film on her and told her they were planning to get Alia on board, she was excited.”

Who is Arunima Sinha?
Arunima Sinha is the first female amputee to scale Mount Everest and Mount Vinson. In 2011, the national level volleyball player came face to face with a gang of robbers, which turned into a fight and they pushed her from a running train. As a result, one of her legs had to be amputated below the knee. She has already scaled six peaks Everest in Asia, Kilimanjaro in Africa, Elbrus in Europe, Kosciuszko in Australia, Aconcagua in Argentina and Carstensz Pyramid (Puncak Jaya) in Indonesia. She completed her final summit of Mount Vinson in Antarctica on 4 January 2019.
