Supreme Leader of Iran Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei's niece Farideh Moradkhani was arrested for calling on foreign governments to cut ties with the Iranian government.
According to a tweet by Moradkhani's brother Mahmoud, Khamenei's niece was arrested when she went to the prosecutor's office in response to a court order. Prior to her arrest, Moradkhani asked foreign governments to "stop any dealings with this regime" in a video statement.
Russian Woman Branded As "Traitor" For Helping Rebuild Homes In Ukraine
Maria Korkina, a Russian woman was branded as a "traitor" by her family for helping rebuild Ukrainian homes destroyed by the Russian army. She was abandoned by her parents and reportedly, her mother told Korkina, "I hope you croak".
The 28-year-old Russian was living in the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv for four years when the war broke out. When Korkina stayed back in Ukraine instead of returning to Russia her entire family turned on her.
Mumbai Court Holds Women Can Be Held Guilty Of Outraging Women's Modesty
A Metropolitan Magistrates Court in Mumbai held that Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) was gender-neutral regarding the offender. The court convicted and sentenced a mother of three to one-year imprisonment for outraging another woman's modesty.
The accused was convicted of assaulting her neighbour and tearing her nightdress in the building passage in front of several other people.
PT Usha Set To Become The First Female President Of Indian Olympic Association
58-year-old PT Usha, winner of several Asian Games gold medals and fourth place finisher in the 1984 Olympics 400m hurdles final is set to become the first woman president of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA).
Usha filed her nomination papers for the elections and emerged as the lone candidate for the post.
The sprinter PT Usha was also elected as one of the eight Sportspersons of Outstanding Merit by IOA's Athletes Commission.

On November 26, the volunteers reached Bondi Beach in Australia for the photoshoot. Artist Spencer Tunick orchestrated the event in an effort to raise awareness and encourage people to regularly get their skin checked for cancer.
