13 Years On, Mom Reunites With Kids Who Fled Home On Being Scolded

In heartwarming news, a mother was reunited with her children after 13 years. Her children, a daughter and a son, fled their house in Uttar Pradesh's Agra after being scolded by their mother in 2010. But now, the duo had come back and instantly hugged their mother who couldn't hold back her tears. 

As per reports, the daughter named Rakhi was 9 years old and the son, Babloo was 6 years old when the duo left their home. They got scolded and beaten up by their mother Neetu for not washing utensils. Neetu was a daily wage labourer back then and was out for work when the sibling duo left the house. 

How were the children found?

Today, Rakhi has completed her graduation and is working with a company in Delhi while Babloo is working in Bengaluru. 

As per the reports, the mother searched a lot for her children back when they left the house. She even filed a missing complaint at the police station. Since then, every day, Neetu has been on the lookout for her kids in the hope that she will find them. 

13 years later, child rights activist Naresh Paras came to know about the missing children. After extensive investigation, he got to know that the missing complaint was registered at Jagdishpur police station in 2010. He collected the information about Neetu's address and talked to her. He also made her talk to her children on video call. The family identified each other instantly. 

The family's reaction after being reunited

After being reunited, the siblings and the mother couldn't hold back their tears. In fact, Rakhi's grandmother Shakuntala too got overwhelmed by emotions. She said, "I have come back to life after 13 years."

Rakhi and Babloo revealed that after leaving their house, the duo stayed at correctional homes in Meerut and Ghaziabad where they received an education.
