The Agniveer recruitment rally for female candidates under the general duty category for military police will start from November 1 to 3. The online registration is open from August 10 to September 7.
The Defence Ministry has announced the news before Rakshabandhan for female candidates hoping to enroll in the Agnipath scheme in Karnataka.
According to a Defence statement, the recruitment to be held at Manekshaw Parade ground here by the Recruiting Office (HQ) Bengaluru under the aegis of Headquarters Recruiting Zone Bengaluru for female candidates from Karnataka, Kerala, and the Union Territory of Lakshadweep and Mahe.

Agniveer Female Recruitment 2022 Details
On August 7 Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Bengaluru published a notification mentioning the details of age, education qualification, and other criteria for enrolment in the specified category in the Army. The age criteria for Army Female Agniveer Recruitment 2022 is 17.5- 23 Years. Online registration of candidates on the website www.Joinindianarmy.nic.in is mandatory. The admit cards will be sent to registered email between 12 and 13 October 2022.
The government of India launched the Agnipath Recruitment Scheme on June 14. Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force can recruit Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen under this scheme only.
The scheme mandates Agniveer candidates to serve for four years in the respective service. On completion of four years, up to 25% of soldiers will be offered an opportunity for additional 15 years in the regular cadre of the concerned Armed Force. Agniveer candidates will earn a salary package of ₹30,000 in the first year. There onwards a 10% hike every year. The qualification criteria of all the three forces are the same.
On July 1, the Indian Navy started the registration for the Agnipath recruitment scheme. According to Indian Navy officials, 20% of the candidates in the first batch of Agniveers for the Agnipath Recruitment Scheme will be women. Besides, it has been reported that around 10,000 females have registered for the process within days of opening the portal. Earlier, the Armed forces enrolled women only in officer ranks. For the first time, Army began recruiting women in other titles in 2019-20. So far, over 100 women jawans are presently Corps of Military Police (CMP).
By joining the Agnipath scheme candidates receive the 'Seva Nidhi' contributory package, under which the soldiers will contribute 30% of their monthly remunerations, and the government will contribute the same amount. After four years they will receive a one-time payment of Rs 11.7 lakh.
