Afghan women working for the government were reportedly asked to stay at home by the Taliban until the security forces allow them.
As reported by the AFP news agency, the Taliban has put certain restrictions on the Afghan women working for the government.

During the ongoing evacuation of the US citizens and other countries from Afghanistan, the Women's Football team of Afghanistan too evacuated. The Australian government was thanked by the Global soccer players’ union FIFPRO for the evacuation of the team and their family members.
The union said in their statement, "These young women, both as athletes and activists, have been in a position of danger and on behalf of their peers around the world we thank the international community for coming to their aid."
The UK has pressed for an extension in the current deadline for evacuation from Afghanistan while the US is still considering it. On Sunday, US President Joe Biden pledged the US troop's safety and also said that the Afghan citizens who were the allies of the US would be given a home. They would be screened and vetted at the bases at other countries.
The Taliban spokesperson said in his statement that the Taliban stays firm on their deadline of August 31.

President Biden said, " We will welcome these Afghans who have helped us in the war effort over the last 20 years to their new home in the United States of America."
Apart from the evacuation, the World Health Organisation has been sending food and medical supplies to the people of Afghanistan which is still stuck at the Kabul airport due to the closure for commercial flights. According to the WHO regional director, more than 500 tonnes of relief material which includes food kits, medical kits is not been able to be delivered to the ones in need after the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan. He added that almost half of the country's population which is 18.5 million depends on the relief material.
