Well known Telugu and Tamil film star Samantha Akkineni is all set to become an entrepreneur. The fashionista announced that her new fashion label will be launched soon. Earlier this year, Samantha also launched a pre-school in Hyderabad.
Announcing the launch of her business venture, in a short video on Twitter Akkineni revealed her fashion brand will be called 'Saaki'. She wrote: “Saaki has been a dream of mine and my baby for many months. It is a reflection of my love for fashion and my journey in life. Launching soon. Hope you like it (sic).”
She also recollected how as a college kid she couldn’t afford an outfit with a designer label, hence she mentioned that this is her way of reminiscing old memories.

In the video, she announced that her aim is to make fashion "affordable and accessible to everyone". The Super Deluxe actress Akkineni said the designs will reflect her signature style. Sharing that the venture has been a dream of her and her actor-husband Naga Chaitanya's Samantha wrote on Instagram, "While I’ve thought of building something like this for many years, I’ve finally been able to work with a wonderful team to bring it to life. This is my way of reaching out to all of you who have supported me and constantly given me so much love over the years."

"It’s more special because we have been able to work through the most challenging times over the past few months as a team. I’m very excited and nervous at the same time about finally sharing it with all of you," the 33-year-old actress added with joy.
On the acting front, Samantha was last seen in Jaanu, the Telugu remake of the Tamil film 96.
Samantha and Naga Chaitanya, who co-starred in films like Manam, Ye Maaya Chesave and Autonagar Surya, got married in 2017. "Before I even started my acting career, I was enamoured by fashionable people and styles in magazines. I remember when I was in college, there was no way that I could afford a designer outfit. Since I started acting, I've had the honour of wearing clothes designed by talented designers," the actress said in the video.
Meanwhile, she is prepping for her next romantic-comedy Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. She has recently completed shooting for the second season of The Family Man.
