Actress Ronni Hawk Arrested Charged For Domestic Abuse

Actress Ronni Hawk was recently arrested for intimate partner violence/domestic abuse by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). The twenty-year-old American actress is known for her role as Rachel Diaz on the Disney show, Stuck in the Middle from 2016-2018. The Los Angeles Police Department’s Van Nuys division arrested Ronni on Friday, 31 July 2020 morning for alleged bodily injury of a spouse or cohabitant.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the police got a domestic disturbance call that morning. On arrival, officers claim that they saw a man on the scene who had visible injuries including scratches. The police reportedly said that a verbal argument between Hawk and her boyfriend turned physical after a point of time. His visibly apparent injuries led the cops to arrest Ronni.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s records show that she is facing a felony charge. It also says that Hawk was taken to Valley Jail in Van Nuys, California, and booked on these accounts at 11:36 am, E! News reports. The actress was released the same day at 9:45 pm on bond and the bail money was set at $100,000. She is expected to appear for the court hearing for the same, the date of which was set for 11 December. No further details have been shared.

Ronni Hawk started acting and modelling at the age of 12. She has modelled for national television and print ads. After this, she decided to pursue her dream to become an actress and moved to Los Angeles and was part of many TV commercials. Post her work in some projects like Unspoken, Disney offered her a role in their comedy series Stuck in the Middle. In 2018, she played Olivia on Netflix’s On My Block. She has made appearances on CW's Legacies and CBS' S.W.A.T as well.
