Actress Amrita Rao Expecting Her First Baby With Husband RJ Anmol

Actress Amrita Rao is reportedly expecting her first baby with husband RJ Anmol. The news broke out when a picture of the actress with a visible baby bump went viral on social media. The couple was reportedly snapped outside a doctor’s clinic.

The couple tied the knot in 2016 after dating for seven years. Just like the pregnancy news, their wedding was also a very intimate affair with just friends and family. Although the couple has not confirmed the news themselves, a close source to the actress told TOI, “She is loving this phase of her life. While people may not be aware of her pregnancy, those close to the couple are in the know. They conceived just before the lockdown and this phase came as a blessing in disguise as the couple could spend quality time together. Anmol and she are both private people and they like to keep things low-key.”

Amrita Rao made her debut with the film Ab Ke Baras in 2002. Since then she has been part of several successful movies, some of her most popular performances are in Vivah, Main Hoon Na, Welcome to Sajjanpur. Amrita was last seen in the 2019 film Thackeray, opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui. She played the role of Nawazuddin's on-screen wife Meena in the biographical drama based on the life of Bal Thackeray. RJ Anmol recently made her debut as a host on Colors TV’s live music show Jammin.

During the lockdown, several Bollywood actresses have shared the news of their pregnancies. Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan announced she and husband Saif Ali Khan are ready to welcome their second child. After her actress, Anushka Sharma and husband Virat Kohli announced they are about to welcome a baby in 2021 through an Instagram post. And recently it was revealed that Chak De India actress Sagarika Ghatge is expecting her first baby with cricketer-husband Zaheer Khan.
