The latest in the #MeToo list of those accused of sexual harassment is celebrity manager Founder of Kwan Entertainment, Anirban Blah as aspiring actor Meira Omar alleged that he “pushed himself and kissed” her without her consent. Omar shared her harrowing experience of how the industry works with young, aspiring actors who want to get into the industry with a daily.

The Wajah Tum Ho actress came to India in 2006 from Sweden to fulfil her bollywood dreams when she contacted KWAN talent agency and Blah for work. After a meeting with the team, Anirban asked her to meet her privately to make her “the star”. "He asked me to come over to his work space, as meeting in a public space would give people the wrong idea. He specifically mentioned that he didn't want tabloids writing about it," Meira said to TOI.

Omar said that his work space was actually an apartment in Juhu, Mumbai where he stayed away from his family. Blah asked her to let her hair down and feel comfortable. They chatted for the night where he told her, “How he is a man who can get girls to come out of their shell, bring out their inner sexiness and awaken other desires in men."

The report says he even went ahead and told me about a specific case where a girl reached out to him and she was gorgeous, but too timid and shy. So he locked her in his balcony in that same Juhu apartment, where we were sitting and forced her to masturbate. He narrated the story to me with a sense of pride. He showed me pictures of the girl he was currently working on, pointing out the difference between before he discovered her, and after he did.”

He also said that he loves kissing, even though he's in a happy relationship with his wife. My cab had arrived so I got up to leave. He pushed himself against me and kissed me. I felt paralysed and scared. I took my bag and ran out

Since Omar was new to Indian and wanted to work in the industry she heard him and wanted to trust him. He gave her an ‘assignment where he wanted her to imagine that she was doing a cover shoot for an international fashion magazine. For that, she should pick out sexy looks. “He told me to really think about these looks, why I chose them and how they represented my sex appeal. He told me to "bring these looks to work" where he would photograph me and we would dissect the looks together," said the Afghanistan-born actor.

She felt uncomfortable but still wanted to work. But the situation went out of hand when Omar went with her choice of looks and he dismissed them and asked her to leave and while she was waiting for the cab, he said, “"F**ck, you're really sexy," and tried to kiss her.

He told her that she would just have to do some things with men, and if she couldn't handle it, she should just leave. “He said something like 'Bollywood won't change for you, no matter how well-read or how much of a feminist you are. You don't necessarily have to sleep with everyone, but you have to touch, kiss or tease them. Kissing is always okay.'" said Meira.

"He also said that he loves kissing, even though he's in a happy relationship with his wife. My cab had arrived so I got up to leave. He pushed himself against me and kissed me. I felt paralysed and scared. I took my bag and ran out," she added.

After that Omar cut him out and to take revenge, Blah told people in the industry that she "didn't have what it takes to become anything in the industry". This left her with no choice but to return to her home country until recently.

KWAN has asked Blah to step down from his position. Blah also tried to commit suicide after all these allegations at his flat in Vashi on Friday.
