Actor Kriti Sanon To Play Sita Next To Actor Prabhas In Adipurush, Here's What You Should Know

Actress Kriti Sanon has been finalised for the role of Sita in the Om Raut directed film Adipurush. The film is going to be an epic 3D action-drama that will revolve around the triumph of the good over the evil. Sanon will perform next to actor Prabhas who will play the role of Lord Rama and actor Saif Ali Khan who will be the antagonist and will play the role of Ravana. Ever since the film was announced multiple speculations were floating around on who will play the role of Sita, now finally the makers have found their Sita and it is none other than Kirti Sanon, as reported by Mumbai Mirror.

1. The actress was born and raised in Delhi. Her father Rahul Sanon is a chartered accountant and her mother Geeta Sanon, a physics professor at the University of Delhi.
2. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida.
3. Before starting her career in acting she has briefly worked as a model and has also acted in TV commercials. Way back in 2011, she worked in TV commercials for Vivel Soap, Himalaya Face Wash, and Close Up.
4. Sanon made her acting debut in 2014 with the Telugu film Nenokkadine which was a psychological thriller. In the film, she played the role of Sameera, a journalist who is also the love interest of Mahesh Babu's character.
5. She made her Bollywood debut with the film Heropanti in which she performed next to actor Tiger Shroff. The film was a commercial success and she received the Filmfare best debut actress award for her performance.
6. The star has also endorsed several brands and products like Titan Watches' Raga Collection, Parachute, and UrbanClap among many others.
7. In 2016 the actress turned into an entrepreneur when she launched her clothing line called ‘Ms taken’.
8. Since her debut, Sanon has starred in several films like the commercially successful action-comedy Dilwale, which ranks as her highest-grossing release, the romantic comedies Bareilly Ki Barfi and Luka Chuppi, and also the comedy film Housefull 4.
9. In 2019 Kriti Sanon was named in the Forbes 100 list of India’s Celebrities.
10. Sanon has won several awards like the International Indian Film Academy award for being the best style icon, she also earned Star Screen Award in 2019 for her performance in the film Luka Chupi.
