Pinkie Roshan, Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan’s mother, has tested positive for coronavirus. Reportedly, she contracted the virus a week back and has isolated herself since then. Veteran actor Rakesh Roshan, Pinkie Roshan’s husband, confirmed the same and told The Indian Express, “She is asymptomatic and doing home quarantine.”

Pinkie Roshan Tests Positive For Coronavirus
Notably, Pinkie Roshan celebrates her 67th birthday today, October 22. She took to Instagram to share a picture of the surprise birthday gifts left by her family at her door. The picture featured a large cut-out of the letter P embellished with pink flowers and balloons. The caption accompanying the picture read, “#myfamily brings on my birthday with this surprise at my door.”

Pinkie Roshan also told Times of India that all her family and staff members have been getting COVID-19 tests done every 20 days as a precaution for quite some time now. She discovered that she had contracted the virus during one of these routine tests a week back. Furthermore, Pinkie Roshan said, “I have no symptoms and my doctors told me that my yoga and exercise regime has helped in a big way to keep this in control … I am expected to undergo another test tomorrow, and let's hope it will be negative."

Pinkie Roshan Under Home Quarantine
Currently, Pinkie Roshan is under home quarantine with her mother, her daughter Sunaina Roshan, and her granddaughter Sunarika. Reportedly, Rakesh Roshan is staying at his Khandala farmhouse for the time being.

Recently, Pinkie Roshan also shared her thoughts on late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case on Instagram.
