Reshma Qureshi is an Acid Attack Survivor. In 2014 she was assaulted by her brother-in law and his friends who threw acid on her face, which normally would have broken someone's spirit. but Reshma never gave up on her dreams and today she is an inspiration for women who have faced similar situations.
Earlier this month she had confirmed in an interview with SheThePeople.TV that she has been invited to walk the ramp at the New York Fashion Week where she would be supporting FTL MODA in collaboration with Global Disability Inclusion in September. And sure enough, on the 8th of September, she walked confidently in an Archana Kocher attire, winning everyone's hearts with her smile and bravery. She is closely involved with NGO ‘Make Love Not Scars’ and is also seen hosting a video series ’Beauty Tips By Reshma’, where in the end she made an appeal to stop acid attacks.
