Another minor rape case from Gurugram came to light, in which five men allegedly raped a class 10 student. Among the five accused, two were her friends, who took her to a hotel in Gurugram.
Police pointed out that two of the five accused in the Saturday night incident have been arrested on Monday.
The 14-year-old survivor's mother filed the complaint with the police. According to the complaint, her daughter left the house around 12:30 pm on Saturday. The mother thought her daughter might have gone for a walk in the nearby park, as per a report.
Further mother added in the police complaint that when her daughter did not return for long they started searching for her but could not trace her. Later around 10 am on Sunday, my daughter was found near the house.
On enquiring about her whereabouts, a survivor told her mother that she was taken to a hotel by her two friends on a bike. There the two youths and three others allegedly raped her. The police further said the accused also threatened to kill the survivor if she revealed the incident.

The complaint was registered under IPC sections 376-D (gang rape), 506 (criminal intimidation), and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. Thereafter girl was taken to the civil hospital for medical examination. Later, doctors confirmed rape, as per the authority.
On Monday evening DCP West Deepak Saharan said two accused were arrested and are being interrogated. The hunt for the other accused is going on.
In August 2021, a minor Dalit girl was allegedly raped and murdered by her landlord’s brother-in-law in Gurugram, Haryana, as per reports. Another minor was reportedly raped by her own father in Gurugram on Monday night. The harrowing incident took place in December 2021, where 12-year-old was rape. In another incident, an autorickshaw driver and his friends allegedly gang–raped a 19-year old woman in Gurugram on Tuesday evening (April 30, 2018).
