Three sisters, Anshu, Reetu and Suman made headlines recently when they made it into the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) together, joining their other two sisters who are already serving as officers. Born to a farmer family, they are now a family of 5 RAS officers.
Hailing from Hanumangarh, Rajasthan, the father of the five girls, Sahdev Saharan dropped out of school after class VIII while his wife, Luxmi never received any formal education. Anshu, Reetu and Suman are three sisters clearing RAF 2018. Roma and Manju are the other two sisters.
The news was shared by Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Parveen Kaswan on Twitter.

"The other two Roma and Manju were already RAS. All five daughters of farmer Shri Sahdev Saharan are now RAS officers," he added in the tweet which garnered over 600 likes in less than 24 hours.
3 Sisters Crack Rajasthan Administrative Services Exams Together
Among the three sisters, Anshu ranked 31 in OBC, Reetu, being the youngest one among them ranked 96 and Suman ranked 98.
Previously, Roma became the first RAS officer in her family in 2010 and is presently working as Block Development Officer at Sujangarh in the Jhunjhunu district. Following her footsteps Manju passed the RAS exam in 2017 and is currently serving the Cooperative Department at Nohar, Hanumangarh.
The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) final result of the RAS 2018 was declared on July 14, following the same, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot congratulated the toppers.
