Winter Olympics is on roll. It presented some of the most exciting games so far and there’s a lot in store. The 2018 Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea, started with a bang.
Let’s take you through some of the best moments:
When Team USA Women's Hockey Beat Canada
The American women won their first gold in ice hockey when they knocked out Canada with a 3-2 victory. The opponent was chasing a fifth consecutive gold. But team USA topped Canada in a knockout for its first Olympic gold medal in women’s hockey since 1998. With this stunning win, USA ended Canada’s Winter Olympic reign to overcome its Olympic gold medal drought on ice.

When Anna Gasser Won Women's Gig Air Final
Austrian athlete Anna Gasser silenced opponents with the best score with her last jump and clinched the Winter Olympic gold from Jamie Anderson in the women's big air in Pyeongchang. American Anderson, who lost the gold, had something else to cheer for as she had won the slopestyle gold, earlier. In this game, she scored 90.00 on her first run and still led after run two. But couldn’t match up to the 26-year-old Gasser's 96 score with 16-year-old New Zealander Zoi Sadowski-Synnott third.

When GB's Bobsleigh Women Slayed
Great Britain's Mica McNeill and Mica Moore qualified for the Winter Olympics for the first time in Women's Bobsleigh. As inspiring as it sounds, the women went through tough times to make the cut. The team finished eighth in the women's bobsleigh final and has convinced the sport's national body to fund them for the next Olympics. Lack of funding led them to withdraw in 2017, and a round of crowdfunding initiative raised £40,000 to help them compete at the Games.

When Jamaica's Women's Bobsleigh Team Made History
In another good news, Jamaica's women's bobsleigh team qualify for the Winter Olympics for the first time. The pilot Jazmine Fenlator-Victorian and brake-woman Carrie Russell, debuted yesterday at the PyeongChang winter games but it wasn’t an easy route to choose. The Jamaican women's bobsleigh team scripted history at this year's Winter Games after 30 years of drought when the men's team competed for the first-time.
