With the money she earns, she builds a toilet at her home. This effort of Kunwar Bai has been felicitated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and been chosen as the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' mascot.
Kunwar Bai may be aged, but her ideas about cleanliness are clear. She is opposed to open defecation and to stop this unhygienic process from happening, she sold off some eight to ten of her goats to build toilets in the house.
