From Zika virus symptoms to treatment, here is everything you must know about the virus:
- Five more people, including four women, have tested positive for the infection in Kerala, resulting in 28 total cases in the state.
- Of the five newly reported cases, two were natives of Anayara. A cluster of the disease has been identified within a three-kilometre radius of Anayara.
- The other infected people hailed from Pattom, East Fort and Kunnukuzhi.
- All the samples were tested at the National Virology Institute at Alappuzha.
- Mosquitoes in the Anayar area were exterminated to prevent their spread to other places, the health ministry announced.
