After Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's statement on women's role in population control created controversy, African-American actress and singer Mary Millben has come out in support of PM Modi. 'Best PM for India,' said Millben.
As reported by Asian News International, challenging the statement of CM Nitish the singer said, "After CM Nitish Kumar's comments, I believe a courageous woman needs to step up and declare her candidacy to run for CM of Bihar. If I were a citizen of India, I would move to Bihar and run for CM post."

Commenting on Bihar CM Nitish's statement, the African-American actress and singer asserted, "India is currently facing a crucial moment, particularly in Bihar, where the worth of women is being questioned. In response to CM Nitish Kumar's remarks, I advocate for a bold woman to step forward and announce her candidacy for the position of CM in Bihar. If I were an Indian citizen, I would relocate to Bihar and run for the CM post."
Demanding the resignation of the politician who stirred controversy after commenting on women's education, Millben said, "I believe it's time for Nitish Kumar to step down, and for a woman like Esther to emerge in Bihar. The BJP should empower women to take the lead in Bihar, reflecting a genuine commitment to women's empowerment and development."

Millben further talked about the upcoming election season across the world and praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his leadership. She said, "The 2024 election season has kicked off worldwide, including here in America and certainly in India. Election seasons offer an opportunity for change, a chance to replace outdated policies and non-progressive individuals with voices and values that inspire and truly align with the convictions of all citizens, working towards the collective future of a nation."

An African-American actor and singer hailing from Hollywood, Millben has captivated the hearts of millions in India through her soul-stirring performances of the national anthem, Jan Gana Mana, and the devotional hymn, Om Jai Jagdish Hare. Recognised for her immense talent and the ability to touch souls with her melodic voice, she was invited to perform at an exclusive event organised by the United States Indian Community Foundation (USICF). The event itself unfolded at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in the city of Washington DC.
Before taking the stage, Millben expressed her deep sense of honour at the prospect of performing the Indian national anthem for Prime Minister Modi. And before she started the performance, she touched PM's feet to seek his blessings.
