A man allegedly killed his 26-year-old wife by striking her with a baseball bat and then strangled her in Misalgarhi in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh on Sunday night.
When the girl's parents found out about their daughter's killing, according to the police, they already knew about it. The Police further stated that Gaurav Kumar, 26, who had married Tina in February, had been demanding dowry.
Ghaziabad Man Kills Wife For Dowry
Late on Sunday night in Ghaziabad, a man reportedly killed his 26-year-old wife after hitting her with a baseball bat. The woman's parents told the police about the murder, according to the police report. They further stated that Gaurav Kumar, 26, who wed Tina in February, had been requesting dowry for a long time.
“We last spoke to her around midnight on Sunday...then we got a call from our relatives who live in the same locality that Tina has been killed."Suresh Chand, Tina's uncle reportedly told, "We rushed to her in-laws' house and saw severe injuries on her head and a piece of cloth tied to her neck."
He claimed that although Kumar had requested a Royal Enfield motorcycle, they could only provide a less-priced model. Later, he asked for another one. Last month, her father gave him 3 lakhs for it. Her husband attacked Tina with a baseball bat on Sunday night before hanging her with a piece of cloth.

According to assistant police superintendent Akash Patel, on the basis of a complaint from Tina's relatives, they have arrested Kumar and his family. They claim that their daughter was killed for a dowry. Her husband has a suspicious nature as well, and they frequently argued after they got married. The body has been sent for an autopsy, but on the surface, it appears to be a definite case of murder. The police's investigation revealed that she had suffered severe head wounds, and it appeared that she had been murdered.
