Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor posted a clip from the "Tom and Jerry" cartoon series on Thursday to explain to her son Taimur Ali Khan the importance of adults getting the vaccine for COVID-19.
Kapoor wrote in the caption for the video that she posted on Instagram about how she has been trying to explain the concept of vaccination to her son Taimur.
In the caption, the actor wrote, that our kids are also absorbing whatever is going on and they are scared too, but we don't realise that. She also wrote that this sums up pretty well why all adults need to get vaccinated. It is very simple, and like our kids, we too need to be patient and help people who are trying to help us such as the authorities, medics, pharma and millions of volunteers.
The actor also urged people to register for the vaccine and wait for their turn to break the chain.
Kapoor has been posting a number of messages on social media like Instagram urging people to follow the protocols for COVID and take them seriously. Recently the actor also posted a message in which she was talking about the importance of wearing masks correctly.
The actor will be next seen in the film Laal Singh Chaddha with Amir Khan, directed by Advait Chandan. The film is a remake of the popular Hollywood movie Forrest Gump. She will also appear in Takht, directed by Karan Johar alongside Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar.
The actor was recently trolled by netizens when she posted about wearing masks saying that many people do not understand the gravity of the situation that the country is in. Many people commented on her post saying that this also applies to the celebrities who are going on exotic vacations, and asked Kapoor to convey the message to them as well.
