A new beat just dropped to add to the bunch of Instagram-popular Yashraj Mukhate remixes. The 'mashup' genius, who shot to fame in the first year of the pandemic for catchy music compositions that went viral, recently posted a reel that has fans rolling yet again.
True to his technique of turning peculiar one-liners into songs, Mukhate's latest puts a beat into Bigg Boss contestant Shehnaaz Gill's dialogue on the reality show. "Such a boring day, such a boring people," the 28-year-old says on repeat while Mukhate harmonises it to music.
This is not the first such remix Mukhate has made with Gill's punchy lines. In December 2020, he had turned a quip from her on Bigg Boss - "Twada kutta Tommy, sada kutta kutta?" - into a song that touched millions of views. In fact, actor Deepika Padukone even used Mukhate's remix on a video to ring in her husband Ranveer Singh's birthday.

"Boring Day • Another one with the amazing Shehnaaz Gill ❤️ @artisingh5 love your expressions😂," Mukhate wrote with his reel, adding a special mention for television actor Arti Singh, who also has a brief dialogue in the song.
Mukhate's latest remix, which has already amassed several thousand views in just one hour, is a prolonged one with added vocals from both him and Gill, who also makes a surprise appearance in the video. The reel is a complete song-dance package, which Gill's fans, in particular, seem to be enjoying.
Gill in recent months has witnessed back-to-back tragedies. Following the death of actor Sidharth Shukla from a cardiac arrest last year, Gill, his rumoured partner, was consistently in the spotlight. She paid a tribute to him with a special song, Tu Yaheen Hai.
It was further reported in December that Gill's father had been shot at in Amritsar. Read more about it here.
